Rib-Knit Alpaca Coat with Scarf-Collar "Manhattan"

The loosely flowing rib-knit structure not only lends a great look, it also assures a perfect fit for every figure in this, our best selling alpaca creation. The shoulder-wide scarf collar and swooping form are special attractions in this extremely comfortable all-rounder!

We also offer a variation to our Coat Manhatten: our Jacket Chelsea.
The Jacket Chelsea is lighter, airier and somewhat shorter than the Coat Manhatten. The feel is lighter and looser.
The Coat Manhatten is knit tighter and feels fuller, more "coat-like".

Jacket and Coat are both available in a smaller, and in a larger version:

About the Alpaca:

The Alpaca animal is shorn only once a year, yielding 2 to 4 kg of fiber. Since only the best fibers from the shoulder and back are used in clothing products, you could estimate that one animal produces one sweater a year.

The demand for alpaca is constantly on the rise. But there are only three million alpacas worldwide. For this reason, this fine natural product will always be exclusive.
